I was traveling by train, backpack, and my little girl through Europe. It was a great trip to visit schools and colleges in Berlin, Prague, Vienna, and Venice to strengthen my presentation for the board and my supervisor towards a new role in the organization I work for.

The picture is taken in Prague, the day before I fell on the same staircase as the roof came down. We were sleeping and woke up by a bit of noise. We ignored the noise outside. We took a shower en got dressed for the day. It was an exciting day because I would meet a Dutch colleague from working and living in Prague. A woman working for “het NOPje”, an organization teaching Dutch in Prague.

When we went outside, headed to the supermarket for breakfast, police had blocked our street because our roof came down and caused a lot of damage.
