On May 8th, I had another appointment with my hematologist. This time she allowed me to get out of bed again. We also scheduled an appointment to make an ultrasound in June 2020 to see if the blood clot had been solved.

Finally, I could get outside again. Still walking with crutches, wearing my stocking and brace, I went to the canal near my apartment. A walk with a total distance of 500 meters. To get there and to get back home. Resting near the waterside before I got back did the trick. When I got back, I needed to sleep again.

I enjoyed nature… There were a lot of birds out there. Ducks, coots, geese, herons, grebes, and gulls. Most of them with little ones.

I still suffered from other health problems, health problems that could be Covid-19. My taste was gone, I had palpitations and trouble breathing, I was more exhausted. I had headaches while I’m not a headache person, headaches only appear when I’m ill. I had a fever for one night. My palpitations and stuffiness were scary and made me worry.

I called my hematologist, my general practitioner, and my former general practitioner. My hematologist and general practitioner both told me to take it easy. They blamed the blood clot and circumstances with my supervisor and work for the health problems I experienced. I needed someone who would listen to me and help me out.

I had contact with the psychological practice supporter because it was good to talk about my health problems and the things at work that really got me upset.

After a few weeks my palpitations and stuffiness decreased.
