The first meal during our quarantine was a recipe from Jamie Oliver. I still didn’t have much taste, but I could taste the spicy jerk chicken a bit. The meal I ate was accompanied by a Corona beer because I don’t like this name used for the Covid-19 virus. We had enough fresh vegetables for our week at home.

During our quarantine, I called the mediator to reschedule our appointment with my supervisor. She took care of it. Soon I got a call from the absence consultant again. He wondered why they didn’t get the approval document to call my general practitioner. And why I canceled the appointment for the mediation and if I was really sick.

I was agitated and stressed again. I told him I needed the approval form first before I could return it. And that the quarantine was obliged by the GGD. My supervisor was informed about this by the mediator. Because of confidentiality, I couldn’t tell him more.

I was well adjusted to my blood thinners; our quarantine was 7 days; else, it would be 14 days. I was happy we didn’t develop other symptoms during that week of quarantine. It seemed I was ill long before I got tested. Only my symptoms were not the symptoms mentioned for Covid-19, except the tiredness and lack of smell.

When we got out of quarantine, I found the approval form in my mailbox downstairs in the building. I took it with me to the next mediation appointment and gave it to my supervisor.

There are so many things that can be the cause of or influence my mental and physical health problems, that I get more clueless in doing what is good for me.
