My birthday was at the start of the autumn break. My boyfriend ordered breakfast in bed. A great start to the day for me and my daughter. In the afternoon we went to the beach. In the evening he got me my favorite meal at Hummus in Delft.

During that autumn break, we undertook many activities outside. I was also tired and slept a lot. Because he always drove the car, I managed to join and he made it possible to give my daughter a nice holiday. On the last Friday of the holiday, he took me to a beauty specialist for a treatment he gave me for my birthday. I enjoyed this very much.

We had a nice week, but I felt there was still something standing between me and my boyfriend. I missed a real bonding relationship. For me, it felt we were two people not able to bond on the crucial facets of a healthy relationship. Although we still had a lot of things we both like to do or like to talk about.
