Today my former boyfriend called me to say he would go to Epilennium in Rotterdam to pick up my new stockings. He brought them over to The Hague. My new stockings are from the brand: Juzo, and they are custom made.
I changed my stockings immediately because the ones I was wearing needed to go back to Epilennium to be sent back to Germany to get adjusted.
It took some time to get the knee stockings of and put the pantyhose on. They are really tight, and it feels like I’m wearing a corset as the shorter stockings made my leg slim by 2 cm in nine days. I hope I also get rid of the rest of the edema in my leg and tummy. I don’t expect it to stay away without the stockings, but I hope it relieves my pain and tiredness.
I’m reducing pain medication for the pain in my back for a few days to see if I can manage without them. Although the painkillers relieved my back pain, my left leg was feeling weird during the past week. Experiencing that bought back memories about my first leg thrombosis 25 years ago. That started with pain in my back after a long car drive and a weird leg in the week that followed.
