Because biking on holiday went better, I wanted to try going to the gym again. My friend took me there to try out if the XCO lessons I was used to were possible for me to do yet.

I informed the instructor about my medical health issues. She gave me instructions. I had to listen to my body carefully, no jumping, and quit if it hurt too much.

I listened and did other exercises when needed. I’m used to doing XCO for about 20 years, so I tried different things when exercises hurt. That made it possible to join all 45 minutes of the lesson.

The next day I felt my ankle, but it was not too painful. With many exercises, I trained the same muscles as I did with physical therapy. The next week I joined the lesson again. Because it went well again, I reopened my subscription to my gym again after it had been frozen since my fall in February.
